3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH NAPA GENUINE PARKS, AS PRIMARY PROVIDER, AND CROW
5 BURLINGAME, AS SECONDARY PROVIDER, FOR THE PURCHASE OF LIGHT -
6 DUTY REPAIR PARTS FOR ALL CITY DEPARTMENTS; AND FOR OTHER

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for an APO to purchase light -duty repair parts for
all City departments, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from NAPA Genuine
Parts, and the second lowest responsible and responsive bid was from Crow Burlingame, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
NAPA Genuine Parts as the primary provider of light -duty repair parts, and Crow Burlingame as
secondary provider of tight -duty repair parts, for all City departments in an estimated amount of Two
Hundred Twenty -five Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00).
Section 2. The contract is authorized for a period of one (1) year and can be renewed for an
additional three (3) years, upon agreement of the parties.
Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services budget.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shalt remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
