A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE PLANNING
COMMISSION'S APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW A CONVENIENCE STORE ON THE C -1
ZONED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14100 KANIS ROAD. (Z-
6933 -13)
WHEREAS, an application was filed on behalf of Crackerbox, LLC for a
conditional use permit to allow a convenience store with gas pumps on the C -1 zoned
property located 14100 Kanis Road; and,
WHEREAS, at its December 6, 2007 meeting, the Little Rock Planning
Commission approved the conditional use permit by a vote of 11 ayes, 0 noes and
0 absent; and,
WHEREAS, a record objector has appealed he Planning Commission's action to
the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has
determined the action of the Little Rock Planning Commission in approving said
conditional use permit to be inappropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The action of the City of Little Rock Planning Commission in
approving a conditional use permit to allow a convenience store with gas pumps on the
C -1 zoned property located at 14100 Kanis Road is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2. Said conditional use permit is hereby denied.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
