3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 19, 2008, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON
4 THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE 37 -FOOT -WIDE COUNTRY CLUB LANE
5 RIGHT -OF -WAY LOCATED ADJACENT TO 2422 COUNTRY CLUB LANE,
6 BEING LOTS 11 AND 12, BLOCK 11, COUNTRY CLUB HEIGHTS ADDITION,
7 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
10 vacate and abandon the 37- foot -wide Country Club Lane right -of -way located adjacent to 2422 Country
11 Club Lane, being Lots 11 and 12, Block 11, Country Club Heights Addition, Little Rock, Arkansas,
12 pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. 514 -54 -104.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
14 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be
16 held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at
17 six o'clock on the 19th day of February, 2008.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
19 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
20 Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
