ORDINANCE NOv 1 0,768
AN ORDINANCE CONSOLIDATING THE OFFICES' OF THE CITY
CLERK AND CITY TREASURER; DESIGNATIM SAID OFFICE
AS CITY CLERK »TREASURER; PROiVIDUIQ THAT THE OFFICE
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO AND AFFECTED BY ALL PROVISIONS,
RIGHTS AND BENEFITS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE SYSTEM
NOW IN EFFECT; PROVIDING FOR THE SALARY THEREOF;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD Cf DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer
are hereby consolidated and shall henceforth be identified
as "City Clerk- Treasurer" with such duties as are now or
may hv- -P &fter be prescribed by law.
SECTION Z. The City- Clerk•TrePzcrer shu'1 be entitled
to receive as compensation an &=uml aalary not to exceed
Four Thm-c and Dollars ($4,000.00).
SECTION 3. The Office of City Clsiic- Treasurer shall be
affected by and rendered subject to all of the provisions,
rights and benefits of the Civil Service System now in effect.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full t-crce and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
