RESOLUTION NO. 12,095
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TENNANT SALES AND SERVICE
5 COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) HIGH SIDE DUMP
6 MECHANICAL STREET SWEEPER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
7 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
9 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department is in need of one (1) High -side Dump
10 Mechanical Sweeper, and
11 WHEREAS, the sweeper will replace a 1998 model Street Sweeper, and
12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids under Bid #5311 for the
13 purchase of the Street Sweeper, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was
14 received from Tennant Sales and Service Company in the amount of One Hundred Fifty
15 Thousand, Five Hundred Eight -three and 35/100 Dollars ($150,583.35).
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into a contract for the purchase of one (1) High -side Dump Mechanical Sweeper from
20 Tennant Sales and Service Company, for the amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand,
21 Five Hundred Eight -three and 35/100 Dollars ($150,583.35).
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from 2005 Short Term
23 Financing.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
25 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
26 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining

I portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
2 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
3 resolution.
4 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
5 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
6 of such inconsistency.
