RESOLUTION NO. 12,624
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE CITY FLEET
VEHICLE TIRES IN 2008 THROUGH THE ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT #SP -08-
0026; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, purchasing City fleet vehicle tires utilizing the Arkansas State Contract provides the
most vendor options, while maintaining pricing consistency, and
WHEREAS, the estimated annual cost for City fleet vehicle tires utilizing the State Contract is
Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Sectionl. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to purchase City fleet vehicle
tires in 2008 from the Arkansas State Contract #SP -08 -0026, in the estimated annual cost of Three
Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00).
Section 2. Funds for the purchase of fleet vehicle tires are available in the Fleet Services
Department, Parts -Tires and Lubes account.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
