3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 21 , 2007, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON
4 THE PETITION TO ABANDON A 15 -FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED
5 WITHIN THE PROPERTY AT 12700 CHENAL PARKWAY; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
9 vacate and abandon a 15 -foot utility easement located within the property at 12700 Chenal Parkway,
10 pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. 514 -54 -104.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
12 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be
14 held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at
15 six o'clock on the 21St day of August, 2007.
16 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
17 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
18 Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
