A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OF IVES
WALK, BETWEEN CUMBERLAND STREET AND ROCK
STREET, TO NEW HORIZON LANE.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Housing Authority is redeveloping the former Ives
Walk housing project as a new single family subdivision to be named New Horizon
Village; and,
WHEREAS, the Authority has requested that Ives Walk, a street located entirely
within the boundary of the redevelopment project, be renamed New Horizon Lane; and,
WHEREAS, at its June 7, 2007 meeting, the Little Rock Planning Commission
voted to recommend approval of the requested street name change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The name of Ives Walk, located between Cumberland Street and
Rock Street, is hereby changed to New Horizon Lane.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and the City Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said
change.
