3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
4 WITH QUAPAW HOUSE, INC. FOR QUALITY OUTCOMES AND QUALITY
5 ASDSESSMENT EVALUATION OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT AND
6 NEIGHBORHOOD SUPPORT CENTER SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is committed to providing prevention, intervention, and
9 youth development programs and services to enhance public safety and community - building, and
10 WHEREAS, the City advertised a formal Bid No. 7235 to solicit proposals for Patient Outcomes
11 and Quality Assessment Evaluation for Substance Abuse Treatment and Support Services, and
12 WHEREAS, a review committee met and reviewed the proposals submitted, determined the
13 lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and recommends the contract award to Quapaw House, Inc.
14 based upon the recommendation of the Commission on Youth and Families.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
16 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with the Quapaw House,
18 Inc., not to exceed $98,733, to provide Patient Outcomes and Quality Assessment Evaluation services,
19 upon approval of the contract by the City Attorney.
20 Section 2. Funds for this program is from FUTURE - Little Rock tax revenue specified for
21 prevention, intervention, and treatment programs, account number SOOT348.
22 Section 3. The term of the contract is for one year.
23 Section 4. Severability. in the event any portion of this resolution is declared or adjudged to
24 be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions
25 of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged
26 invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of this resolution.
27 Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict
28 with any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
