HomeMy WebLinkAbout12531RESOLUTION NO. 12,531 A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS, REAPPOINTMENTS, AND REINSTATEMENTS TO VARIOUS CITY OF LITTLE ROCK BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 13E IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The following named persons are hereby appointed or reappointed as members of the following Boards and /or Commissions: ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONS J. Warren Simpson, appointed to serve a full four year term, replacing Mary Beth Ringgold, serving in the industry position, said term expiring on May I, 2011. Tim Morton, appointed to serve a full four -year term, replacing Bruce Bennett, serving in an At -Large position, said term expiring on May April 1, 201 I. CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION C. Kay Barlett, appointed to serve a first four -year term, said tern expiring on April L 2013. COMMUNITY HOUSING ADVISORY BOARD Michael D. Robinson, reappointed to a second full three -year term as an At -large representative, said term expiring on June 2,20 10. Susan Johnson Chan, reappointed to a second full three -year term as the Real Estate Business Community representative, said term expiring on June 2, 2010. Bill McElwee, reappointed to a second full three -year term as the For -Profit Corporation representative, said term expiring on June 2, 2010. Daryl Swinton, reappointed to his first full three -year term as the Non - Profit Corporation representative, said term expiring on June 2, 2010. LITTLE ROCK HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION Julie Wiedower, appointed to serve her first full three -year term, said term expiring on June 15, 2010. Rosolution 12,531 Boards and Commissions Page 1 of2 OAKLAND FRATERNAL CEMETERY BOARD A. Keith Jernigan, reappointed to serve a second three -year term, said term expiring on June I, 2010. Harry Hamner, reappointed to serve a third three -year term because of his long -term experience, said teen expiring on June I, 2010. Eura Jeanne Smith. reappointed to serve a second three -year term, said term expiring on June I, 2010. Carla H. Coleman. reappointed to serve her first full three -year term, said term expiring on June I, 2010. LITTLE ROCK PORT AUTHORITY Mike Maulden, reappointed to serve a third five -year term, said term expiring on July 6, 2012. The Port is in the middle of several major projects. Mr. Maulden's leadership and ties with Entergy's 'Teamwork Arkansas economic development program have been of significant help. His expertise is needed for an additional term. LITTLE ROCK RACIAL AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION Dorothy M. Hollerman, appointed to serve an unexpired term left vacant by the resignation of Alicia [)can, said term expiring on March 31, 2008. SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
