A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO RENEW THE CONTRACT WITH
STANDARD INSURANCE COMPANY TO
PROVIDE TERM LIFE INSURANCE COVERAGE
FOR CITY OF LITTLE ROCK EMPLOYEES
FOR A TWELVE MONTH PERIOD EFFECTIVE
JANUARY 1, 1996.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock provides term life
insurance coverage for regular full time employees; and
WHEREAS, the current provider, Standard Insurance Company,
has submitted a renewal proposal which calls for no increase in
the premium rate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to renew the
contract with Standard Insurance Company to provide term life
insurance coverage for City of Little Rock employees for a
twelve month period effective January'l, 1996.
