WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
vacate and abandon a portion of Cobb and Zion Streets and an alley located within Block 81 of the John
Barrow Addition, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. 514 -54 -104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be
held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Halt at
six o'clock on the 5th day of June, 2007.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
