3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
4 WITH SNYDER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $145,426.54,
5 FOR THE PURCHASE OF DOG KENNELS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK ANIMAL VILLAGE;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the formal bidding process was utilized to obtain competitive bids for the purchase of
9 dog kennels; and
10 WHEREAS, Snyder Manufacturing Company submitted the only bid meeting minimum specifications
11 in the purchase amount of One Hundred Forty -Five Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty -Six Dollars and Fifty -
12 Four Cents ($145,426.54); and
13 WHEREAS, the purchase is to be made for the installation of indoor and outdoor dog runs at the
14 City of Little Rock's new animal shelter.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
16 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract for
18 the purchase of 146 dog kennels, including partitions, gates and required hardware and equipment, with
19 Snyder Manufacturing Company in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty -Five Thousand, Four
20 Hundred Twenty -Six Dollars and Fifty -Four Cents ($145,426.54).
21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Account # 31935972504- BOOAS01.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
23 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
24 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in
25 full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally
26 a part of the resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
28 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
29 inconsistency.
30 Section 5. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
