N 9 Whereas, a request was made to abandon the undeveloped Hanger Street right - 10 of -way adjacent to Lots 7 through 12, Block 2, Hanger's Addition, North of East 9th 1 I Street, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to the City's general police power 12 authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104; 13 Whereas, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this portion of the 14 public right -of -way will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners 15 nor the local traffic, and therefore, the right -of -way abandoned by this ordinance is no 16 longer needed for corporate purposes except as otherwise noted below. 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 18 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the 20 portion of the said right of way, less and except the reserved public utility easements, 21 together with the right of public in general, in and to the undeveloped Hanger Street 22 right -of -way adjacent to Lots 7 through 12, Block 2, Hanger's Addition, North of East 23 9th Street, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. 24 Section 2. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, 2 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid 3 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining 4 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so 5 declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 6 ordinance. 7 Section 4. Repealer.
