3 AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON THE TEN-
4 FOOT -WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ALONG THE
5 COMMON LOT LINE BETWEEN LOTS 200 AND 201, LONGLEA
6 VIII T ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
7 ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 Whereas, a request was made to abandon the ten - foot -wide utility easement
10 located along the common lot line between Lots 200 and 201, Longlea VIII T Addition,
11 at 4315 Valley View Drive, for the purpose of constructing a single home, pursuant to
12 the City's general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
13 Whereas, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this utility easement
14 will not have an adverse impact on other property owners and all utility companies
15 approve the requested abandonment, and therefore, the easement abandoned by this
16 ordinance is no longer needed for corporate purposes except as otherwise noted below.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
18 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
20 utility easement located along the common lot line between Lots 200 and 201, Longlea
21 VIII T Addition in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
22 Section 3. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed
23 in the real estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder of
24 Pulaski County, Arkansas.
