3 AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON THE
4 EASEMENTS REMAINING IN THE FORMER SPRUCE STREET
5 RIGHT -OF -WAY BETWEEN LEE AVENUE AND WOODLAWN ,
6 IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

9 Whereas, a request was made to abandon the easements retained within the
10 former Spruce Street right -of -way located between Lee Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue
11 pursuant to the City's general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54-
12 104;
13 Whereas, the Board has determined that the abandoning of these easements as a
14 public right -of -way will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners
15 nor the local traffic, and therefore, the easements abandoned by this ordinance are no
16 longer needed for corporate purposes except as otherwise noted below.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
18 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
20 easements previously retained within the former Spruce Street right -of -way located
21 between Lee Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue, adjacent to Blocks 24 and 25, Pulaski
22 Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
23 Section 3. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed
24 in the real estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officioa,r @Eor&ef "of
