AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION
OF THE ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 6, UNION DEPOT
ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Whereas, a request was made to abandon a portion of alley described below
pursuant to the City's general police power authority under Ark. Code Arm. § 14 -54-
104;
Whereas, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this portion of the
alley as a public right -of -way will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property
owners nor the local traffic, and therefore, the right -of -way abandoned by this
ordinance is no longer needed for corporate purposes except as otherwise noted below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
portion of the said alley, less and except the reserved public utility easements, together
with the right of public in general, in and to the alley located in Block 6, Union Depot
Addition, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Section 2. The City specifically reserves a public utility and drainage easement
within the former alley.
Section 3. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City
