3 AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION
4 OF THE UNDEVELOPED SIXTY -FOOT WIDE CHENAL VALLEY
5 DRIVE RIGHT -OF -WAY TO BE INCORPORATED INTO
6 FUTURE DEVELOPMENT, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
7 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 Whereas, a request was made by Deltic Timber Corporation, the owner of
10 abutting property to that mentioned herein, to abandon the right -of -way described
11 below pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
12 Whereas, the Board has determined that the abandoning of the undeveloped
13 sixty-foot wide Chenal Valley Drive right -of -way, to be incorporated into a future
14 multifamily development, will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property
15 owners nor the public welfare and safety, and therefore, the portion of the right -of -way
16 abandoned by this ordinance is no longer needed for corporate purposes except as
17 otherwise noted below.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
19 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
21 right -of -way of the City of Little Rock, less and except the reserved public utility
22 easements, together with the right of public in general, in and to the undeveloped sixty-
23 foot wide Chenal Valley Drive right -of -way, located South of Rahling Road, in the City
24 of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
25 Section 2. The City specifically reserves a public utility and @fair�age;easein�nt
