AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 18,519
AND REVOKING A PLANNED ZONING DISTRICT TITLED
WADE - SHORT -FORM POD (Z- 4741 -A) LOCATED AT
5100 "B" STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 18,519 was passed on July 3, 2001
establishing a Planned Zoning District titled Wade Short -Form
POD located at 5100 "B" Street; and
WHEREAS, the property has not been developed as approved by
the Planned Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested
that the Planned Zoning District be revoked and the previous
"R -3" zoning be restored.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 18,519 is hereby repealed,
removing from the official zoning map the classification Planned
Office District title Wade Short -Form POD located at 5100 "B"
Street.
SECTION 2. That the property described as the South 68.33
feet of Lots 9, 10 and 11, Block 3, Pfeifer Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas is hereby zoned R -3,
Single Family Residential.
SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any section,
subsection, subdivision, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be
invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which
shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the ordinance.
SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,
or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
SECTION S. Emergency. Due to the fact that the property
owner has begun single family residential renovations to the
residence on the property, it is necessary to immediately
•
implement the provisions of this Ordinance. An emergency is,
therefore, declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
