3 AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL PORTIONS OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK.,
4 REV. §§ 22 -24 (1988) AS TO PARKING FEES IN WAR MEMORIAL PARK;
5 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, two sections of the Little Rock Revised Code of Ordinances set fees for
8 parking in War Memorial Park at Razorback football games, and
9 WHEREAS, after a competitive selection process the City entered into a contractual
10 agreement with the War Memorial Stadium Commission, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark.,
11 Resolution no. 10,473 (February 16, 1999), to lease certain parking facilities to the
12 Commission in exchange for certain annual payments and the construction of various
13 capital improvements, and
14 WHEREAS, this agreement renders these provisions of the Little Rock Revised
15 Code of Ordinances moot,
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. Little Rock, Ark., Rev. Code § 22 -24 (b) (1988) is hereby repealed.
19 Section 2. Little Rock, Ark., Rev. Code § 22 -24 (e) (1988) is hereby repealed.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
21 clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
22 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions
23 of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
24 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance.

Repeal of War Memorial Parking fees
I Section 4. Repealer. In addition to the provisions set forth above, all
2 resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are hereby
3 repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
