HomeMy WebLinkAbout18518• ORDINANCE NO. 18.518 is AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 16,908, REVOKING A PORTION OF A PLANNED ZONING DISTRICT TITLED BRODIE CREEK - LONG -FORM PRD, RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (Z- 5963 -B). WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16,908 was passed on June 20, 1995 establishing a planned zoning district; and WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested the repeal of a portion of the "PZD" ordinance for 220 acres of the original 695 acres zoned "PRD" - Planned Residential District; and WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested that the zoning of the property be reclassified to "R -2" Single Family Residential District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. SECTION 2. That the zoning of the property described in Section 1. above is hereby reclassified to "R -2" Single Family Residential District. SECTION 3. It is hereby determined by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock that there is immediate need to amend Ordinance No. 16,908 to revoke a portion of the Brodie Creek - Long -Form PRD and to reclassify the zoning of the subject property to "R -2" Single Family Residential. An emergency is therefore declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and take effect from and after its passage and approval.
