AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
16,908, REVOKING A PORTION OF A PLANNED
ZONING DISTRICT TITLED BRODIE CREEK -
LONG -FORM PRD, RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES. (Z- 5963 -B).
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16,908 was passed on June 20,
1995 establishing a planned zoning district; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has
requested the repeal of a portion of the "PZD" ordinance for
220 acres of the original 695 acres zoned "PRD" - Planned
Residential District; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has
requested that the zoning of the property be reclassified to
"R -2" Single Family Residential District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 16,908 is hereby amended
removing from the official zoning map the classification
"PRD" - Planned Residential District titled Brodie Creek -
Long -Form PRD for the following described property:
TRACT 1
Part of the SE 4 of Section 8, T -1 -N, R -13 -W,
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as:
Commencing at the SE corner of the SE 4 of
Section 8; thence N89 006'49" West along the
South line of said SE 14 839.39 feet to the
point of beginning, said point also being the
SW corner of Brodie Creek Community, Phase I,
recorded as Plat #E -791 in the records of the
Circuit County Clerk of Pulaski County,

SECTION 2. That the zoning of the property described
in Section 1. above is hereby reclassified to "R -2" Single
Family Residential District.
SECTION 3. It is hereby determined by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock that there is immediate
need to amend Ordinance No. 16,908 to revoke a portion of
the Brodie Creek - Long -Form PRD and to reclassify the
zoning of the subject property to "R -2" Single Family
Residential.
An emergency is therefore declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and take effect from and
after its passage and approval.
