HomeMy WebLinkAbout18399ORDINANCE NO. 18.399 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLANNED ZONING DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DISTRICT - COMMERCIAL TITLED BROOKS - SHORT -FORM PD -C (Z- 6861 -A) LOCATED AT 4819 STAGECOACH ROAD IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. ' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following described property be changed from R -2 to PD -C. Part of the SE '< NE ., Section 22, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the NE corner and run South 847.6 feet to an iron pin; thence N88 045', West 323.0 feet to an iron pin which is the point of beginning; thence N50 049' West 430.0 feet to a point on the SE right - of -way line of Stagecoach Road; thence Southwesterly along said right -o£ -way line 336.8 feet to an iron pin; thence S88 045' East 546.4 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 1.66 acres more or less. SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development plan /plat be approved as recommended by the Little Rock Planning Commission. SECTION 3. That the change in zoning classification contemplated for Brooks (Short -Form PD -C) is conditioned upon obtaining a final plan approval within the time specified by Chapter 36, Article VII, Section 36 -454 (d) of the Code of Ordinances. SECTION 4. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof. s • SECTION 5. That this ORDINANCE shall take effect and be in full force upon final approval of the plan. This application seems to recognize long existing commercial use in the Asher /Stagecoach area and understand the neighborhood desire for less commercial development in the area. This statement of support is my opinion. The membership of Southwest Little Rock United for Progress did not have the opportunity to vote on the matter.
