ORDINANCE NO. 18.280
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 OF THE
LITTLE ROCK CODE OF ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE
OF THE 1999 ARKANSAS PLUMBING CODE WITH
1999 REVISION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark. Rev. Code 8 -474A (a) (1) adopts by reference the 1999
edition of the Arkansas Plumbing Code with Appendix "I" and 1999 Revisions.
WHEREAS, the City has complied with Ark. Code Ann. §14 -55 -207 (1987) by publishing
a notice of intent to adopt these technical codes by reference in a paper of general circulation
within the municipality and three copies of codes have been available for inspection in the City
Clerk's office by the public prior to their adoption; and
WHEREAS, this ordinance amendment is necessary to update the City Code and
authorize the use of the 1999 edition within the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. This section of Little Rock, ARK. Rev. Code
§8 -474A (1988) is hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) The following publications are adopted by reference:
(1) The "1999 Arkansas Plumbing Code" with Appendix "I" and 1999
Revisions.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this provision are
hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
