AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $299,960 FROM
THE UNRESTRICTED INTEREST ACCOUNT TO PAY
THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE 1999 FEDERALLY
ASSISTED BUS PURCHASE FOR CENTRAL
ARKANSAS TRANSIT AUTHORITY.

WHEREAS, the City's supplement match for its 1999 bus capital contribution
is $299,960; and
WHEREAS, this plus previously approved local matching funds would allow
CATA to cover the 1999 federally assisted purchase of 12 new buses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to appropriate $299,960 to
Central Arkansas Transit Authority for the 1999 bus capital matching funds.
SECTION 2. Funding is available from the unrestricted interest account
number 303 -8250.
