AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER AND
DEFERRAL OF BOUNDARY STREET IMPROVEMENTS
FOR STEPHENS SCHOOL LOCATED AT 3700 WEST 18TH
STREET.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances is amended to provide for waiver
and deferral of certain requirements within the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street Plan for the
City of Little Rock for Stephens School located at 3700 West 18'' Street as follows:
Subsection a. That Section 31 -201, requiring developers to provide one -half of the
required commercial street widening for streets abutting property be waived and
residential street standards be accepted.
Subsection b. That Section 31 -201, requiring developers to provide one -half of the
required residential street improvements for West 17 and West 18t' Streets east of
Valentine Street be deferred for a period of five (5) years or until abutting street
improvements are constructed, whichever occurs first.
Subsection c. That Section 31 -201, requiring developers to provide required
residential street improvements for Maple and Valentine streets be deferred until
Planning Commission and Board of Directors consider closure of streets.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
