d ao WHEREAS, a Petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski County,
W a Arkansas by the owners of the hereinafter described lands praying that said lands be
o N annexed to and be made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and,

z WHEREAS, on October 30, 1998 an Order Approving Annexation was entered
ow
,', c by the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, wherein the Pulaski County Judge
3 found that the Petition was signed by a majority of the total number of real property
° owners in said area proposed to be annexed and by the owners of more than one -half of
othe acreage of said area; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate
m
limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate map of said lands had been

ua° filed with and made a part of said Petition; that proper notice had been given for the time

in and in the manner prescribed by law; and that all things pertaining thereto had been

1 done in the manner prescribed by law and that said lands should be annexed to and made a
U
part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to acceptance of same by the Board of
Directors of said City at the proper time as prescribed by law; and,
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said Order Approving
Annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken
from said Order.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.

Ordinance Accepting Annexation
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to and adjoining the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas be and the same are hereby accepted as a part of and annexed to
and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of the WI /2 of Section 14, T -2 -N, R -14 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as: Begining at the Northwest
comer of the NWI /4, said Section 14; thence S89°33'1I "E along the North
line of said NWl /4, 2669.51 ft. to a point, 50.15 ft. N89°33'11 "W of the
Northeast comer of said NWl /4; thence S00 05946 "W along the West
right -of -way line of a 50ft. county road, 1270.34 ft.; thence N88 °52'28 "W,
389.88 ft.; thence S01 °07'40 "W, 839.14 ft.; thence N88 °45'12 "W, 482,83
ft.; thence S00 °57'17 "W, 1.20 ft.; thence N88 04831 "W 395.81 ft. to a
point on the East line of the WI/2, NW1 /4 said Section 14; thence
S01007'41 "W along said East line, 509.20 ft. to the Southeast corner of
said WI/2, NWl /4; thence S89 °07'39 "W along the South line of said W1/2,
NWl /4, 280.55 ft.; thence S22°24'41 "W, 43.70 ft,; thence S09°24'18 "W,
58.50 ft. to a point on the North right -of -way line of Arkansas State
Highway No. 10; thence Northwesterly along said North right -of -way line
the following bearings and distances: N78 045'26 "W, 14.35 ft.;
N65 °48'17 "W, 53.53 ft.; N82 °07'32 "W, 144.66 ft. and N89 "45'51 "W,
323.37 ft.; thence North 874.94 ft.; thence N81021'28 "E, 738.29 ft,; thence
N11 016'38 "E, 511.36 ft.; thence North 170.64 ft,; thence S89 °08'31 "W,
510.86 ft,; thence North 529.36 ft,; thence S89008'32 "W 832.27 ft. to a
point on the West line of the NWl /4, said section 14; thence
N00°21'37 "W along said West line, 503.13 ft. to the point of beginning,
containing 95.00 Acres more or less; together with all rights -of -way
abutting the aforesaid.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
