AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $100,000 FROM
THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE
GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, there is a balance of $843,227 in the Workers' Compensation
Reserve Account; and
WHEREAS, 1998 first quarter expenditures have exceeded expectations relating
to paying a high amount of claims from previous years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to transfer $100,000 from the
Workers' Compensation Reserve Account 100 -8509 to the City's General Fund budget
account 100- 010 - 6510 -1250.
