AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH HARRIS
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE
AMOUNT OF $240,955 FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE 1998 HANDICAP
RAMP PROGRAM.
Whereas, This program was selected as a 1998 Revenue Bond Project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids and award a contract
with Harris Construction Company, lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to
exceed $240,955 ($219,050 + 10 %) for construction of the 1998 Handicap Ramp program.
SECTION 2. Advance funding for this contract is from the 1999 Resurfacing Account
303 - 220 -0777. At the time the 1998 Revenue Bonds are issued, it is the City's intent to
reimburse the Resurfacing Account $200,000.
