AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLANNED ZONING
DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A PLANNED
OFFICE DISTRICT TITLED CATHEDRAL SCHOOL --
LONG -FORM POD (Z -6483) LOCATED ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF CANTRELL ROAD, IMMEDIATELY WEST OF
NORTH STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following
described property be changed from I -3 to POD.
A tract of land being all of Blocks 3, 12, 13, 16 of
Worthens Subdivision, a portion of Blocks 1, 2, 4, 11,
14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 Worthens Subdivision, a
portion of Lot 19, Stillman and Buchanans Addition, all
of Block 362 of the Original City of Little Rock, a
portion of Blocks 338 and 363 of the Original City of
Little Rock, all in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the South right -of -way
line of Cantrell Road (Arkansas State Highway #10) and
the West right -of -way line of North Street; thence

Street, 336.17 feet to a point on the South right -of-
way line of said North Street; thence 583000133 "E along
said South right -of -way line 425.00 feet; thence
S06059127 "W, 312.17 feet to a point on the North right -
of -way line of the Union Pacific Railroad Company;
thence 566024122 "W along said North right -of -way line
992.26 feet to a point on the South line of said
Worthens Subdivision; thence 589044114 "W along said
South line, 577.25 feet to a point on the East right -
of -way line of said Union Pacific Railroad Company;
thence Northwesterly along said East right -of -way line,
being the arc of a 1,577.89 foot radius curve to the
left having a chord bearing and distance of
N24029,45 "W, 1,457.33 feet to a point on the South
right -of -way line of said Cantrell Road; thence
582034.38 "E along said South right -of -way line, 359.84
feet; thence 516036'17 "W, 25.00 feet; thence
S61015123 "E, 165.67 feet; thence 567002130 "E, 254.82
feet; thence N03000,37 "W, 156.61 feet to a point on the

South right -of -way line of said Cantrell Road; thence
S82 010119 "E along said South right -of -way line 994.34
feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 35.93 acres
more or less.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development plan /plat
be approved as recommended by the Little Rock Planning
Commission.
SECTION 3. That the change in zoning classification
contemplated for Cathedral School (Long -Form POD) is conditioned
upon obtaining a final plan approval within the time specified by
Chapter 36, Article VII, Section 36- 454(d) of the Code of
Ordinances.
SECTION 4. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the extent
and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change
provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 5. That this ORDINANCE shall take effect and be in
full force upon final approval of the plan.
