Pulaski Enterprise Community Alliance (PECA)
JACKSONVILLE r
LITTLE ROCK Dear Mr. Carney:
MAUMELLE It is my understanding that the City of Little Rock is interested in increasing the
pool of contractors available to compete for City business as part of its economic
NORTH LITTLE ROCK development program for small businesses. Since Pulaski County is the fiscal agent for
SHERWOOD the Pulaski Enterprise Community Alliance ("PECA "), 1 understand that the City would like
to coordinate its efforts with PECA for bonding and technical support for small
WRIGHTSVILLE businesses.
Pulaski County hereby agrees, as the fiscal agent for PECA , to handle a sum of
up to One Hundred and Thirty -One Thousand Dollars ($131,000), to be paid by the City to
provide bonding and technical support to small businesses. Based upon previous
correspondence, Pulaski County has been apprised that, for purposes of the PECA
agreement, a small business is one that has sales in the range of One Hundred
UNINCORPORATED Thousand ($100,000) to Five Million ($5,000,000) Dollars, but can include businesses
AREA with sales less than One Hundred Thousand ($100,000) Dollars that PECA believes can
BOO SOUARE MILES exceed that amount with proper bonding and technical support.
I am pleased that the County is able to assist with this project as the fiscal agent
for PECA. —
