4 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $131,903 FROM THE 1996
5 GENERAL FUND CARRYOVER ACCOUNT TO THE SPECIAL
6 PROJECTS FUND AS MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE 1997 LOCAL
7 LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.

9 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Finance Department indicates that the funds are
10 available; and
11 WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors that these funds be used for
12 matching funds for the Police Department 1997 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
14 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 SECTION 1. The sum of $131,903 is hereby appropriated from the General
16 Fund balance to be transferred to a Special Project that will bear interest as matching
17 funds for the 1997 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant.
