AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL
OF BOUNDARY STREET AND SIDEWALK
REQUIREMENTS FOR GEYER SPRINGS FIRST
BAPTIST CHURCH (Z- 5365 -D) LOCATED AT 12400
INTERSTATE 30.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide
for deferral of certain requirements within the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street
Plan of the City of Little Rock for Geyer Springs First Baptist Church located at 12400
Interstate 30, as follows:
Subsection a. That Section 31 -201, requiring developers to provide one -
half of commercial street improvements for I -30 frontage road, be deferred
for a period of five (5) years or until congestion on the I -30 frontage road
warrants construction of improvements, whichever occurs first. The
specific deferral is for center lane construction to provide protected left
turn lanes for the existing driveways.
Subsection b. That Section 31 -201 requiring construction of a sidewalk
on the frontage of a commercial subdivision be deferral for a period of five
(5) years or until adjacent sidewalk construction whichever occurs first.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
its passage.
