AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROJECT
LIST AND APPROPRIATING CDBG FUNDS FOR
THE 1997 INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, projects were submitted to Public Works staff during Infrastntchue
Ward and Neighborhood meetings; and
WHEREAS, a backlog of approximately $400 million of street and drainage
maintenance exists; and
WHEREAS, utilizing the Board approved guidelines a list of projects were
selected
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept the project list and
appropriate CDBG fimds for the 1997 Infi•astntcture Investment Program.
SECTION 2. The project list is as follows:
CDBG
Highland Court Phase I S 700,000
Swaggerty Branch: Roosevelt Road to Wright Avenue 1,365,000
Black Roads: Cantrell Road to Pankey Avenue 350,000
Maryland: Brown to Cedar & Brown: 11 th to Maryland 535A00
Total: 53,000,000
SECTION 3. Fundin = in the amount of 53,000,000 is available from CDBG.
