AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 17,336 ("THE 1997 BUDGET
ORDINANCE "); TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE STREET FUND FOR
INFRASTRUCTURE; AND REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE 1996
GENERAL FUND CARRYOVER TO THE GENERAL FUND BALANCE.
WHEREAS, the 1996 Street Fund has $500,000 carryover that could be used for
infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the 1996 General Fund carryover of $500,000 was appropriated in the 1997
budget for infrastructure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $500,000 from the 1996 Street Fund carryover be
transferred and appropriated to the reserve for the Infrastructure Account.
SECTION 2. That the sum of $500,000 appropriated in the 1997 Budget from 96
General Fund carryover for infrastructure be freed up and reappropriated to the General Fund
balance.
