2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING IN PART ORDINANCE NO.
3 17,336 (THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK 1997 BUDGET
4 ORDINANCE) TO INCREASE SECTION 3 -AGENCY SUPPORT

6 AND OTHER COMMITMENTS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, as part of the budget process, the Board of Directors has agreed and
10 must now formally amend the budget to accomplish this recommendation.

12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

15 SECTION 1. Section 3 of the City of Little Rock 1997 Budget Ordinance No.
16 17,336 is amended to read as follows:

18 The following FUTURE- Little Rock Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment
19 (PIT) project balances funded in 1994 - 1996 are reappropriated to fund projects as
20 recommended by the Board of Directors.

SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that there is an immediate and
existing emergency and urgent need to amend the 1997 Budget Ordinance. This
Ordinance shall be in effect on and after March 18, 1997.
