AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
15,385 TO ALLOW FOR A THREE YEAR TIME
EXTENSION FOR A PCD DISTRICT TITLED THE
SUMMIT LONG -FORM PCD (Z -4923) LOCATED ON
THE WEST SIDE OF SHACKLEFORD ROAD BETWEEN
INTERSTATE 430 AND WEST 36TH STREET IN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING CHAPTER 43 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15,385 was passed December 1,
1987 establishing a Planned Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 36
of the Code of Ordinances established a (3) year preliminary
approval limit for development; and
WHEREAS, a first (3) year time extension was granted on
February 12, 1991, and a second (3) year time extension on
January 4, 1994; and
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance 15,385 located on the west
side of Shackleford Road between Interstate 430 and West
36th Street The Summit Long -Form PCD (Z -4923) is amended to
allow a third (3) year time extension that would expire on
February 20, 2000.
SECTION 2. That the property described as part of the
SE 1/4, Section 9, and part of the NE 1/4, Section 16, T -1-
N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as:
Beginning at the NE corner of the NE 1/4 of said
Section 16; thence S02003147 11W, along the East
line of the NE 1/4, Section 16, 970.8 feet; thence
N87031.09 "W, 1,573.51 feet to a point on the
easterly right -of -way line of Interstate Route No.
430; thence northeasterly and northwesterly along
said easterly right -of -way line the following
bearings and distances; N02022,23 "E, 970.34 feet;
N55046114 "W, 38.13 feet; N02005100 "E, 759.89 feet;
N18012116 "E, 470.31 feet; N25035113 "E, 372.0 feet;
N49014,32 "E, 555.07 feet; N67047102 "E, 92.6 feet
N75 038'02 "E, 188.0 feet; N82020,32 -E, 357.33 feet;
thence S77021148 "E, 186.35 feet to a point on the
West right -of -way line of Shackleford Road; thence
southerly along said West right -of -way line the
following bearings and distances; 506055108 "E,
252.23 feet; SO5 037.07 "W, 200.05 feet;
S30 016'05 "E, 119.3 feet; S87014147 "E, 24.0 feet to
a point on the East line SE 1/4 said Section 9;
thence S02 005154 "W, 1,228.7 feet; thence
N87031109 "W, 590.0 feet; along the North line of
Lot 1, Interstate 430 Office Park Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence S02 005154 "W,
300.0 feet along the West line of said Lot 1;
thence S87 031109 "E, 590.0 feet along the South
line of said Lot 1 to the point of beginning
containing 97.446 acres more or less.
SECTION 3. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and designated district map be and it is hereby amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to affect and
designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 4. That this ORDINANCE shall take effect and
be in full force upon final approval of the plan.
