AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND USE PLAN
(16,222) IN THE GEYER SPRINGS WEST DISTRICT, IN
THE CLOVERDALE /WATSON SCHOOLS NEIGHBORHOOD FROM
SINGLE FAMILY MULTI FAMILY, LOW DENSITY
MULTIFAMILY, AND PARKS /OPEN SPACE TO SINGLE
FAMILY, OFFICE, MIXED OFFICE WAREHOUS, PUBLIC
INSTITUTIONAL AND PARKS /OPEN SPACE, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff after review of the area
believes it is appropriate to modify the Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after discussion of the
issue at a public hearing recommends the Plan be modified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. An area of land on the northeast corner of
Frenchman's and 83rd Street is changed from Multifamily to
Office.
SECTION 2. An area on the north side of Baseline Road
between Cloverdale and Verbena is changed from Single Family to
Office.
SECTION 3. The Southwest Community Center and Police
Substation is changed from Park /Open Space to Public/
Institutional.
SECTION 4. An area of Multifamily around Atkins Drive is
changed to Mixed Office Warehouse.
SECTION 5. An area between Chicot Road and Oakgrove just
north of Mabelvale Cutoff is changed from Multifamily to Single
Family.
SECTION 6. An area on Mabelvale Cutoff between Chicot Road
and Valley Drive is changed from Single Family to =-
Public /Institutional.
SECTION 7. An area from Valley Drive east of Warren Drive
to Valley Drive at Geyer Springs Road, is changed from existing
Single Family, Low Density Multifamily, and Office to Park and
Open Space.

SECTION 8. The Plan Map is amended as shown on the attached
sketch map.
