ORDINANCE NO. 17,407
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $25,000 FROM THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT FUND TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO THE ARKANSAS
STATE POLICE FOR FITNESS EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Police proposed to move their headquarters to
the Southwest City Mall; and
WHEREAS, as an incentive to the Arkansas State Police to move to the
Southwest City Mall, the City of Little Rock made a commitment to assist in the
purchasing of new fitness equipment for their new building; and
WHEREAS, the City offered to appropriate $25,000 from the Economic
Development Fund to the Arkansas State Police for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to appropriate $25,000 from the
Economic Development Fund (Account 212 -8500) to be paid to the Arkansas State
Police to be used to purchase fitness equipment.
