ORDINANCE NO. 17,372
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF THE
PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT TO THE HUMAN RESOURCES
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the title Personnel Department no longer accurately reflects the broad nature
of duties performed; and
WHEREAS, Human Resources is used to more clearly define the general nature of all those
activities undertaken by this department and is more readily recognized by others in this profession.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to change the name of the Personnel
Department to the Human Resources Department.
