ORDINANCE NO. 17,362 848
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK.,
ORDINANCE NO. 16,730 (AUGUST 16, 1994) TO
CLARIFY BOARD MEMBERSHIP ON THE EDUCATION
COMMISSION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has created a number of
boards and commissions to help implement the recommendations of
the Future - Little Rock Task Force; and
WHEREAS, it is important to have members of the Board of
Directors, or persons that have served on the Board of
Directors, to be involved with these committees and to represent
the City's interest; and
WHEREAS, the current Education Commission ordinance limits
this membership to a person that is actually sitting on the
Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section 3(a)(b) is hereby amended to read as
follows:
(a) One (1) member, or past member, of the
Little Rock Board of Directors;
