ORDINANCE NO. 17,304 703
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND USE
PLAN (ORDINANCE NO. 16,222) IN THE WEST
LITTLE ROCK DISTRICT, BOUNDED ON THE
NORTH BY CANTRELL ROAD, ON THE SOUTH BY
MISSOURI STREET, ON THE WEST BY BISCAYNE
DRIVE AND ON THE EAST BY BROADVIEW DRIVE;
FROM VARIOUS LAND USES TO SINGLE FAMILY,
LOW DENSITY MULTIFAMILY, MULTIFAMILY,
COMMERCIAL, AND PUBLIC /INSTITUTIONAL; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Staff after
review of the area believes it is appropriate to modify the
plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after conducting a
public hearing on the issue recommends the Plan be modified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. An area along the north side of Illinois
Street and west of Georgia Avenue is changed from
public /institutional to single family.
SECTION 2. An area along both sides of Georgia Avenue
between Ohio Street and Indiana Avenue is changed from
multifamily to single family.
SECTION 3. An area at the end of Winslow Drive is
changed from multifamily to single family.
SECTION 4. An area along the north side of Cantrell
Road and west of Manney Road is changed from single family
to commercial.
SECTION 5. An area along the south side of Cantrell
Road and west of Mississippi Street and directly across from
Manny Road is changed from multifamily to commercial.
SECTION 6. Areas along the north side of Illinois
Street and east of Watt Street are changed from single
family to "public /institutional.
SECTION 7. An area along both sides of "T" Street and
west of Watt Street is changed from multifamily and office
to public /institutional.
SECTION 8. An area between Ohio Street and Indiana
Avenue and east of Mississippi Street is changed from
multifamily to low density multifamily.
SECTION 9. An area along both sides of Indiana Avenue
and between Georgia Avenue and Florida Avenue is changed
from multifamily to low density multifamily.
SECTION 10. An area at the northwest corner of the
intersection of Georgia Avenue and Ohio Streets is changed
from commercial to multifamily.
SECTION 11. An area along the east side of Bryant
Street across from Indiana Avenue is changed from commercial
to multifamily.
SECTION 12. The plan map is amended as shown on the
attached sketch map.
