ORDINANCE NO. 17,245
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY MASTER
STREET PLAN (15,519) REDEFINING THE
PAVING AND RIGHT -OF -WAY STANDARDS FOR
MARKHAM FROM CEDAR TO WOODROW AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission recommends
the Street Standards be reduced for Markham Street through
the residential developed area from Cedar to Woodrow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Paving width of Markham Street from
Cedar to Woodrow shall remain the same as that currently in
place and the right -of -way shall only be increased as
necessary to meet sidewalk clearance standards.
SECTION 2. In the Plan Text section entitled "Functional
Classification of Street System - Arterials Minor the
following footnote shall be added from Markham /3rd Street:
"From Cedar to Woodrow the four lane section shall
remain the same paving width as that of
June 1, 1996 and the right -of -way shall only be
increase so as to meet all sidewalk clearance
requirement."
