ORDINANCE NO. 17,175
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND USE PLAN
(16,222) IN THE 65TH STREET WEST DISTRICT,
EITHER SIDE OF COLONEL GLENN ROAD, WEST OF I-
430 FROM COMMERCIAL, COMMUNITY SHOPPING,
OFFICE AND SINGLE FAMILY TO COMMERCIAL,
COMMUNITY SHOPPING MIXED OFFICE COMMERCIAL,
OFFICE AND SUBURBAN OFFICE AND FOR OTHER
MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff after review of the area believes
it is appropriate to modify the Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after discussion of the
issue at a public hearing recommends the Plan be modified.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. An area north of Colonel Glenn and east of
Bowman Roads is changed from Community Shopping to Mixed Office
Commercial.
SECTION 2. An area south of Colonel Glenn and west of 1 -430
is changed from Community Shopping to Commercial.
SECTION 3. An area of Office located northwest of the
Bowman Road - Colonel Glenn Road intersection is changed to
Community Shopping.
SECTION 4. An area between Lawson Road and David O'Dodd
Road is changed from Commercial and Single Family to Community
Shopping.
SECTION 5. An area east of David O'Dodd, north of J.A. Fair
High School is changed from Single Family and Community Shopping
to Office.
SECTION 6. An area between 1 -430 and J.A. Fair south of
Colonel Glenn Road is changed from Community Shopping and Single
Family to Suburban Office.
SECTION 7. The Plan Map is amended as shown on the attached
sketch Map.
