ORDINANCE NO. 17,167
AN ORDINANCE REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS; AUTHORIZING AN
AMENDMENT TO A CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas appropriated
surplus funds in Ordinance No. 16,894, including funds for street improvements and handicapped
accessible curb cuts; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has approved a contract for the construction of the
River Market with Nabholz Construction Company, and it is now deemed desirable to amend
that contract to provide for an elevator for the facility to comply with Americans With
Disabilities Act requirements at a cost of $51,327; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that a portion of the funds previously
appropriated for curb cuts to streets can and should be reappropriated to fund the elevator for
the River Market.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION, 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the
construction contract for the River Market with Nabholz Construction Company in the amount
of $51,327 to provide for an elevator for the facility.
SECTION 2. The sum of $51,327 is hereby reappropriated and directed to be transferred
from account number 210- 220 -0442 (Street Improvements) to account number 303 - 230 -0391
(River Market).
