AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
.. OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
o ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART

WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski County,

0 Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter described lands, praying that said lands be

annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,

4J WHEREAS, on January 24, 1996 the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,

a� found that the petition was signed by a majority of the owners in area and in number of

the following described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas; that said lands are

cc contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of Little Rock,
a) Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of said lands had been filed with and made a

�4 part of said petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in the manner

.. prescribed by law, and that all things pertaining thereto had been done in the manner
prescribed by law, and that said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of same by the Board of
Directors of said City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of annexation
made by the County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken from said order;'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous to and adjoining the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby, accepted as part of and
annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:

The following described area, all lying wholly within Pulaski County, Arkansas, to
A tract of land in the NE 1/4, NE 1/4, Section 19, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Starting at the NE corner Section 19, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
a point in Frazier Pike; thence N 880 21'W along the north line of said Section 19,
331.5' to the point of beginning; thence S O° 52'W 1321.1' to a point; thence N 880 50'
W 291.7' to a point; thence N O° 29' E 1051.1' to a point; thence N 890 17' W 208.8' to
a point; thence N 2° 35' E 275.8' to a point in Frazier Pike on the north line of Section
19; thence S 880 21' E along said north line 499.6' to the point of beginning, containing
10.272 acres, more or less.
And including all adjacent and abutting streets and rights -of -way.
