AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF
MABELVALE TOWN PLAT AND CLOSING
PORTIONS OF A STREET AND ALLEY RIGHT -
OF-WAY ADJACENT TO AND IN BLOCKS 11 AND
12, ALL IN THE PLAT OF THE TOWN OF
MABELVALE, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS
(5- 1063).
WHEREAS, the current owners of Block 11 and the Western
1/2 of Block 12 of the Town of Mabelvale Plat have made
application for the vacation of portions of said blocks for
the purpose of reducing platted land to acreage, pursuant to
Little Rock, Arkansas Rev. Code 31 -11 (1988); and
WHEREAS, the owners have not sold any of the lots
within the described area; and
WHEREAS, none of the dedicated streets and alleys
within the described area have been constructed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas hereby approves the vacation of portions of
the plat of the Town of Mabelvale described herein, together
with the exclusive abandonment of the public rights in the
street and alleys included in the legal description of the
portion to be vacated, described as follows:
Part of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 3, Township
1 South, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described as Lots 1 -12, Block 11 and Lots 4 -9, Block 12,
except the South 10 feet of Lots 8 -12, Block 11, and the
South 10 feet of Lots 7 -9, Block 12, of the Town of
Mabelvale, Pulaski County, Arkansas, including the 60
foot platted right -of -way running between Block 11 and
Block 12 and the 20 foot platted alley right -of -way in
Block 11 and the western 1/2 of Block 12, of the Town of
Mabelvale, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
