AN ORDINANCE RENEWING TAXICAB
OPERATOR PERMITS FOR A ONE YEAR
PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 1996 TO
DECEMBER 31, 1996, AND DECLARING AN
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION. 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby renews the taxicab operator permits of the following
taxicab operators for a one year period beginning January 1,
1996.
A. Capitol Cab Company
B. Dewey worthy
SECTION 2. These taxicab operator permits shall
automatically expire at midnight, December 31, 1996.
SECTION 3. EMERGENCY CLAUSE. It is hereby found and
determined by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
that taxicabs are a necessity to the citizens of Little Rock and
surrounding areas. Therefore, an emergency is declared to exist;
and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety, shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
