ORDINANCE AN Is 1 THE MASTER
PARKS PLAN TO ADD PROPERTY ADJACENT
(RIVER MARK:
WHEREAS, the Parks Department has planned for sometime to
add a farmers market area to the Julius Breckling Riverfront
Park; and
WHEREAS, the planning process for a cultural and
entertainment district included owners and residences of the
downtown business. district; and
WHEREAS, this River.Market is one component of a larger
effort to revitalize downtown Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to amend the
Parks System Master Plan to reflect additional property south
and adjacent to Riverfront Park comprising one half block North
of Markham between Commerce Street and Rock Street.
