HomeMy WebLinkAbout17122ORDINANCE NO. 17,122 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE SUBDIVISION REGULATION WHICH SETS A MINIMUM HORIZONTAL RADIUS FOR COMMERCIAL STREETS FOR CHENAL LOOP COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION (5- 1090), LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF CHENAL PARKWAY, APPROXIMATELY 0.4 MILE NORTH OF THE WEST KANIS RD. INTERSECTION, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a waiver of certain requirements within the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Little Rock for CHENAL LOOP COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION (S- 1090), located on the east side of Chenal Parkway, approximately 0.4 mile north of the west Kanis Rd. intersection, as follows: Subsection a. That a variance be approved from the provisions of Sec. 31 -283, which specifies that the horizontal alignment for streets in commercial subdivisions shall conform to the standards for collector streets, and from the provisions of Sec. 31- 209, which specifies that the minimum horizontal radius at the centerline of commercial streets is to be 450 feet, to permit a horizontal radius of 240 feet ( ±) at the southeast end of the internal cul -de -sac street. SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
