AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A
WAIVER FROM THE SUBDIVISION REGULATION
WHICH REQUIRES PROPER SUBDIVISION OF LAND
FOR THE DAVID AND THERESA STERNS HOME
SITE (Z- 6075), OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS,
LOCATED AT 6401 SULLIVAN RD., LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of
Ordinances be amended to provide for a waiver of certain
requirements within the Subdivision Regulations of the City
of Little Rock for the DAVID AND THERESA STERNS HOME SITE
(Z- 6075), located outside the City Limits, at 6401 Sullivan
Rd., as follows:
Subsection a. That a waiver be approved of the
provisions of Section 31 -5, which states that all
divisions of a tract or parcel of land into one or more
lots, building sites, or other divisions for the
purpose, whether immediate or future, for sale or
building development, shall be considered a subdivision
and are subject to the City's Subdivision Regulations,
to permit the lot which was purchased by the Stearns to
be recognized and platted without compliance with the
Subdivision Regulations which would require platting of
the acreage from which the lot was subdivided.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty
(30) days from and after its passage.
